Import an existing bot

Requirements

The bot must already use Telegram Serverless, and you must control its Serverless CLI token. Traditional VPS, polling, or third-party webhook bots cannot be directly imported as Serverless source.

Create a workspace using Import a bot, connect it, then choose Import cloud source. This downloads and records the complete deployed module set and revision without changing cloud code or business data.

Preserve the baseline

Imported JavaScript remains unchanged in the first immutable version. Future AI changes convert only modified modules to TypeScript. Unknown module layouts are preserved in the snapshot but block publishing until supported; they are never silently omitted.

The imported report is a snapshot record, not proof that the existing code passed TeeAI's local tests. Your original third-party integrations remain your responsibility and may have their own fees.

Synchronize external changes

If you continue editing through BotFather or another CLI, import again before generating a new change. A new import makes the cloud snapshot the latest working baseline; earlier local drafts remain in version history. Review which version you intend to continue from.
